PRIVACY POLICY

Last Updated: July 17, 2025

The Sommet Inc. ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information when you use our websites (including www.sonoque.com), mobile applications such as Sonoque and Sonoque Pro, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

By using our Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Scope of Application

This Privacy Policy applies to all services provided by The Sommet Inc., including the SonoQue website, the Sonoque and Sonoque Pro mobile applications, and any associated devices such as wireless ultrasound devices that connect with our software.

2. Information We Collect

We collect personal information that you provide directly, such as your name, email address, phone number, shipping or billing address, and information required to fulfill your orders or enable core functions within the applications. In addition, when using the Sonoque and Sonoque Pro apps, we may request permissions such as access to location or storage, which you may choose to grant or deny. We also collect certain technical data automatically, including device model, operating system version, IP address, city-level location, diagnostic data, and probe usage statistics. This information is used to enhance product performance and troubleshoot issues. We do not collect any personal health information or media content unless it is generated by the user within the app and stored locally on the user’s device.

3. Device Permissions in Sonoque and Sonoque Pro

When using the Sonoque or Sonoque Pro mobile applications, you may be asked to grant access to device features such as location services or storage. Location permission is used solely for WiFi-based probe connectivity and is not enabled by default. Storage permission allows saving ultrasound images or videos to your device. These permissions are requested explicitly when required and can be revoked at any time through your device settings.

4. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies or similar tracking technologies on our website to improve user experience and functionality. You may choose to disable cookies via your browser settings, though doing so may limit some features of the site.

5. How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected to operate and deliver the Service, process orders, provide technical support, communicate with users, improve app functionality, and analyze usage trends for product development. We do not use your personal data for advertising or unrelated marketing purposes.

6. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. Your data may be shared only with trusted service providers acting on our behalf, or in cases where we are legally required to do so. If there is a merger, acquisition, or reorganization involving the Company, your data may be transferred in accordance with applicable laws and this Privacy Policy.

7. International Data Transfers

Your personal information may be transferred to and stored on servers located outside your country or jurisdiction, including in the United States. We take appropriate safeguards to ensure your information is handled securely and in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

8. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security practices to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. These measures include internal access controls, encrypted data transmission, and security training for staff. Although we take reasonable precautions, no system is entirely secure. We recommend that users protect their information by using strong passwords and keeping their login credentials confidential. In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected users and relevant authorities as required by law.

9. Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to manage permissions granted to the Sonoque and Sonoque Pro applications through your device settings. If you believe your data has been handled improperly or wish to file a complaint, please contact us at support@sonoque.com. If our services are discontinued, we will delete or anonymize any remaining personal data in our systems.

10. Age Restrictions and Protection of Minors

The Sonoque and Sonoque Pro applications, as well as all related services, are intended only for individuals who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from users under 18. If you are under 18, you are not permitted to use our services or submit any personal data through our website or applications. If we discover that we have collected information from a minor under 18 without verified parental consent, we will promptly delete the data. Parents or legal guardians who believe their child may have submitted personal information are encouraged to contact us immediately via the email listed below so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

11. Intended Use by Medical Professionals Only

The Sonoque and Sonoque Pro products and services, including the wireless ultrasound device and mobile applications, are intended solely for use by licensed medical professionals or individuals operating under qualified clinical supervision. By purchasing or using these products or services, you acknowledge that you meet the appropriate professional qualifications and that you understand these tools are not intended for non-clinical, consumer, or at-home diagnostic use by unqualified individuals. Purchase and continued use of our products shall be deemed as your acceptance of this condition.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in legal requirements, technology, or our services. When updates occur, we will post the revised policy on our website and, where appropriate, notify users within the app. Continued use of our services after any such update constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
