We regularly use the c5pl for our out-patient procedures and also for for vascular procedures. The device works great especially for different types of procedures due to the dual-head function and overall multi-purpose for the medical setting. For surgery, we do use the convex and linear head. The high frequency and ideal depth scanning is also sufficient for solid organ surgeries. The probe can easily be washed, it’s good that it’s water resistant for cases of blood or bodily fluid exposure. I am currently also using this probe for open surgery, which is essential in our practice. For different surgeries, we also always rely on the doppler functions to assess the current state. We need the function to measure and assess adequacy of inflow and outflow, and for assessment of portal hypertension and such.
